Salon City Adds NYC, Memphis and Charlotte to National Press Tour

'I Own The City' November Schedule Heats Up


WEST HOLLYWOOD, Calif., Oct. 23, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- Three additional Salon City, Inc. "I Own The City" press parties have been scheduled nationwide in November, announced Steven Casciola, President and CEO of Salon City, Inc. (Pink Sheets:SLON).

The first press party is scheduled for Sunday night, November 5, in New York City at Xena's Beauty Company in lower Manhattan at 158 West 13th Street. Owners Xena Parsons and John Galietti are world-famous beautymakers, recognized for their incredible talents, media artistry and community service. Mr. Casciola stated, "These two individuals are at the top of their game, and we are proud to be able to schedule our press party in their beautiful salon."

One week later, SCI and its editors travel to the great city of Memphis, Tenn. Sheila Zaricor, owner of Master Design Salon, will host the SCI press party on Sunday night, November 12. Said Mr. Casciola, "Sheila has a terrific reputation around the country for being a leader in the beauty industry. She personally has volunteered her time to head up wonderful organizations both inside and outside the industry, dedicated to helping others improve their lives and careers. We are proud to have her as one of the hosts of our November press parties, and we look forward to being there with many friends."

Details of the Charlotte, NC press party are currently being finalized, but Casciola noted, "Charlotte has made quite a significant contribution to Salon City, Inc. becoming a publicly traded company. Not only is it considered one of the banking capitals of the world, it is the city that helped us achieve our publicly traded status. Members of our legal and accounting team are based there as well as numerous investors. It will be great to meet many of them face-to-face for the first time, and all in the midst of the Charlotte salon community, which is recognized as first class. SCI is producing the national press party tour to draw attention to the role that beauty, and the business of beauty, plays in every community around the world.
