LogMeIn Named Rising Star in Deloitte's Technology Fast 50 Program for New England

WOBURN, Mass., Sept. 20, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- LogMeIn, Inc., the leader in remote connectivity and support services, has been named a Rising Star in Deloitte & Touche USA LLP's Technology Fast 50 program for New England.

The Rising Star award is a special designation for fast-growth companies that have been in business just three or four years. The award is part of the New England Technology Fast 50 program, which ranks the 50 fastest growing technology, media, telecommunication and life sciences companies headquartered in New England. Rankings are based on percentage revenue growth over three years (2003-2005).

In the three years since launching LogMeIn Free -- the first commercially-supported, free, web-based remote access service -- the company has grown the size of its global user base to more than 25 million registered computers worldwide.

"To be honored by Deloitte's Technology Fast 50 Rising Star, companies within New England must have had tremendous revenue growth over three years from 2004-2006," said Steve DiPietro, a Partner with Deloitte & Touche LLP, and chair of the New England Technology Fast 50 program. "Deloitte applauds LogMeIn for having the long-term vision to develop technologies that change the way we work and play."

"We are proud to be recognized by Deloitte as part of its Fast 50 Program," said Jim Kelliher, CFO of LogMeIn, Inc. "By simplifying the way people access their Internet enabled data whenever and wherever they want with our LogMeIn product set, we have changed the landscape for consumers, small businesses and corporations worldwide, resulting in the growth we have experienced in both our user base and revenue."

To qualify for the Technology Fast 50 Rising Star program, companies must have had operating revenues of at least $50,000 in 2003 and $5,000,000 in 2005, be headquartered in North America, and own proprietary technology or proprietary intellectual property that contributes to a significant portion of the company's operating revenues or devote a significant proportion of revenues to the research and development of technology. Using other companies' technology or intellectual property in a unique way does not qualify.

Rising Star winners are automatically eligible to be entered in Deloitte's Technology Fast 500 Rising Star category. Deloitte's Technology Fast 500 program ranks North America's top 500 fastest growing technology, media, telecommunications and life sciences companies based on percentage revenue growth over five years (2001-2005). Its Rising Star ranking is based on percentage revenue growth over three years (2003-2005).
