Low Airfares and Free London Hotels Offered by British Airways

Roundtrip Fares Start At $338 From JFK, Newark and Washington, D.C.


NEW YORK, Nov. 13, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- Travelers looking to really stretch their winter or spring vacation dollars need search no further than British Airways as the airline announced today its "London For Free" program that offers two free nights' hotel accommodation in central London when purchasing roundtrip airfares between the USA and London.

Roundtrip economy airfares start at $338 from New York, JFK, Newark and Dulles International Airport, Washington, D.C., with comparable airfares available from all 19 USA gateways; sample roundtrip air fares are $378 from Boston, $458 from Atlanta, $414 from Chicago, $486 from Denver and Los Angeles, and $552 from Seattle.

The "London For Free" package is available for sale through Tuesday midnight (EST), Nov. 20, 2007, with travel valid from Nov. 20 through Dec. 18, 2007, and Dec. 24, 2007 through March 23, 2008.

Central London hotels participating in "London For Free" are the three-star Royal National, Central Park, Imperial, Phoenix, Jury's Inn Chelsea, and the four-star Park Inn Hyde Park, Shaftesbury Kensington and Hilton Olympia. The two free hotel nights are based on double occupancy; single occupants are offered one free hotel night.

'London For Free' passengers also have the option to upgrade their air travel to World Traveller Plus, the airline's premium economy class offering a 38-inch pitch seat, starting at only $125 each way between New York and London.

World Traveller (economy class) airfares must be purchased seven days in advance of departure and are valid only for mid-week travel, Monday-Wednesday. Weekend surcharges of $30 each way apply to travel Thursday-Sunday. Fares do not include government fees and taxes of approximately $165 for World Traveller and approximately $240 for World Traveller Plus, and the $2.50 September 11th Security Fee.
