In his new role, Blouin will be responsible for the day-to-day management of Bell Microproducts' accounting operations and corporate accounting functions, such as consolidations, SEC reporting and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance. Further, Blouin will be responsible for the development and implementation of Bell Microproducts' global accounting policies and practices, as well as ensuring compliance with generally accepted accounting principles.

A 20-year veteran in the accounting and finance field, Blouin most recently served as vice president, finance and corporate controller for Agile Software, a publicly-held publisher of product lifecycle management software. Blouin worked for Agile for eight years before the company's recent acquisition by Oracle. Prior to Agile, Blouin held a similar position at Electroglas Inc, a publicly-held manufacturer of semiconductor equipment. Blouin holds a BS degree in business administration from San Diego State University, received his MBA in finance from Santa Clara University and is a certified public accountant in the state of California.
