Flamemaster Receives New Qualification for Its Grade A Corrosion Inhibiting Sealing and Coating Compound


PACOIMA, Calif., July 8, 2009 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Flamemaster Corporation (Pink Sheets:FAME) received a new qualification for CS 3213 - MIL-PRF-81733D Type II-2, Class 1, Grade A Corrosion Inhibiting Sealing and Coating Compound. CS 3213 Class B is a room temperature curing synthetic rubber compound used in sealing and coating of metal components on weapons and aircraft systems for protection against corrosion.

CS 3213 B-2 is approved for the Department of the Navy -- Naval Air Systems Command.

Flamemaster's CS 3213 provides superior corrosion resistance using proprietary technology combined with chromate inhibitors.

Flamemaster's corrosion inhibiting technology provides corrosion solutions qualified to both chromate and non-chromate specifications. Flamemaster is the only sealant manufacturer to qualify a non-chromate sealant to AMS 3284 (Corrosion Inhibiting) Type-2 requirements.
