RedChip President Speaks at First Annual International Science Animation Awards in Guiyang, China

ORLANDO, Fla., Aug. 19, 2009 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- On August 8th, Dave Gentry, President of RedChip Companies, Inc. presented at the First Annual International Science Animation Awards in Guiyang, China. The three-day festival was promoted by the Asian-Pacific Animation & Comics Association (APACA) with International Television in Asia (ITA) for the purposes of discovering and fostering young talent, creating a more sustainable industry environment, and strengthening international cooperation.

Dave Gentry and RedChip were honored by the Central Chinese Government, the Municipal Guiyang Government, and the hosts of this prestigious event by opening the 2009 Financial Forum ceremonies with a keynote address and presentation entitled "What Makes a Successful RedChip Company," which played on the meaning of the term "Red Chip" in China. A Red Chip company in China is a foreign-listed company.

Speaking to over 200 entrepreneurs and business owners, Mr. Gentry's presentation provided an education and opened a dialogue on how to go public in the Unites States and RedChip's criteria for its "Going Public" clients.

As a result; relationships have been established with China's premier entertainment industry leaders and with a wide array of industries in Guizhou Province that have interest in working with RedChip going forward.

Sander K. Johnson, Executive Director of APACA and Founding Co-Chairman of ISAA, is President of ITA; and his Co-Chairman of ISAA, David Bolinsky, is a pioneer of scientific animation and a cutting-edge American creator of 3D scientific animation for Harvard University Medical, the Smithsonian, NOVA, as well as most major pharmaceutical companies and additional broadcast clients.

The two noted that the unique forum provides a platform for pan-Asian and East-West interaction between leaders in the various industries of science and animation and major universities.

Dave Gentry stated: "This conference was fascinating. Meeting young, creative entrepreneurs as well as seasoned professionals in China's media industry was a learning experience. I look forward to working with some of these entrepreneurs and business owners as they develop their companies and prepare for a listing on NASDAQ or NYSE Amex."
