German pharmaceutical wholesaler Fiebig goes live with IBS Pharma

Pharmaceutical wholesaler Leopold Fiebig has now fully implemented the IBS
Pharma for its industry-specific, highly customized financial accounting
processes which, as a result, are now completely integrated with the entire
business

STOCKHOLM, November 16, 2009 - International Business Systems (STO: IBS B) the
leading application supplier for wholesale and distribution, today announced the
first German customer going live with the IBS Pharma product. The customer,
Leopold Fiebig GmbH & Co. KG, a renowned pharmaceutical wholesaler based in
Rheinstetten, has replaced its proprietary legacy finance solution with a
future-proof standard software which meets all the specific requirements of the
industry and is seamlessly integrated with the existing IT application
eco-system. This includes handling of pricing models, invoicing patterns and
terms and conditions that vary greatly between customers. Fiebig has opted for
the hosting services model offered by IBS as an alternative to the traditional
licensing model and data are stored at the IBS data processing centre which
Fiebig accesses remotely.

"After a series of successful tests we gave the green light and have been live
with IBS Pharma since 1st October 2009", says Klaus Görke, Managing Director at
Fiebig. "As early as this November our pharmacies received summary invoices
which had been created with IBS Pharma for the first time. As was to be
expected, everything went smoothly. We are very happy that we have reached our
goal of establishing a flexible pricing model on the standardized basis of a
stable and seamlessly integrated system. And, seen from a management point of
view our financial accounting processes have become much more efficient."

"We are very happy about this joint project we concluded so successfully. This
was only possible through exemplary co-operation between client company and
solution vendor," declares Bas Broekarts, IBS Vice President Sales Europe. "We
have reached an important milestone on our way to establishing IBS Pharma also
in Germany."
