RAMIRENT SIGNS CONTRACT WITH SELVAAGBYGG IN NORWAY
Ramirent's Norwegian subsidiary, Bautas, has signed a frame agreement with
residential builder Selvaagbygg for the rental of equipment to construction
projects in Norway. In addition, Selvaagbygg outsources all of its
electrification and power equipment to Bautas.
”We think this is a very exciting contract” says Eivind Bøe, MD, Ramirent
Norway. ”We see an increasing trend among companies towards outsourcing non-core
activities in order to release tied up capital and improve flexibility. We are
very happy to start cooperating also in this way with Selvaagbygg by taking over
their electrical equipment”. Bautas will be the main supplier for
electrification and power solutions for Selvaagbygg's projects. This is an area
of focus and great expertise for Bautas, especially in the Oslo area.
Selvaagbygg, a family owned company with over 60 years of experience of
residential building, is today one of Norway's largest residential builders. To
date Selvaagbygg has built more than 50 000 homes in the Greater Oslo area.
