Xlibris Releases 'Vivencias Del Alma' -- Author-artist Displays Moving Poetry and Handmade Art in New Book

SANTA FE SPRINGS, Calif., Dec. 18, 2009 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Author-artist Marcos highlights the acme of his creative mastery as Xlibris announces the release of his new book entitled Vivencias Del Alma, a collection of stirring poems in Spanish and forty-seven handmade drawings.

"To read and to draw are my favorite hobbies," Marcos Garcia states. His book, Vivencias Del Alma, displays his innate poetic expression, both in the literary field and in drawing. It includes over fifty moving poems of love and peace that somehow contain short stories about the author's personal life and the life of his friends and family, using names and characters that are part fact and part fiction. Poems in this anthology are paired with unique illustrations-some with double images-that exude raw, sometimes sensual, yet profound definitions of the entire composition.

Dedicated to the author's parents, wife, daughter and in memory of his brother, Mario, Vivencias Del Alma entices readers to explore their poetic side and appreciate the beauty of life through art. For more information on this book, readers can log on to www.Xlibris.com.
