Glenn Wilson Appointed Dean of Ecotech Institute

Community Leader to Guide Students Down the Path to a Sustainable Career


DENVER, CO--(Marketwire - June 9, 2010) -  Ecotech Institute (www.ecotechinstitute.com), the first and only college focused entirely on preparing America's workforce for careers in renewable energy and sustainable design, today announced that Glenn Wilson will serve as the school's dean of students.

Glenn Wilson brings more than 30 years of education, engineering and sustainability-focused experience to the position. He has a proven track record of improving efficiency, lowering costs, reducing energy usage, implementing green practices and creating a sense of community within companies.

Before joining Ecotech Institute, Glenn was the program director for clean energy technology at Front Range Community College in Fort Collins, Colorado. In addition to developing the associate's degree in Clean Energy Technology, Glenn taught several of the classes, including energy and manufacturing, AC/DC, statistical process control and digital devices.

Previously, Glenn led plant management and engineering at Anheuser Busch and began his career at Adolph Coors Company. In these positions, he was responsible for major operations oversight, incorporation of sustainable practices and a wide variety of other quality initiatives.

Glenn received his master's of science in engineering management from the University of Missouri; a bachelor's of science in electrical engineering from the University of Colorado and holds a professional engineering license.
