ThinkFree Announces Technology Partnership With Samsung Electronics

SANTA CLARA, CA--(Marketwire - July 27, 2010) -  ThinkFree, a global technology company and market leader in office productivity software, announces a co-development agreement with Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd., a leading mobile phone provider. The partnership's venture will integrate the company's flagship product, ThinkFree Office©, with Samsung's newest Android-powered smartphones, the Galaxy S, and its future products.

ThinkFree Office, an integrated personal productivity suite compatible with popular office software, is available as a web, desktop and mobile device application. The pre-installed version of ThinkFree Office will provide the optimal user experience for viewing, editing, and creating Office documents on Galaxy S.

Young-Ick Kim, ThinkFree CEO, announced the agreement: "The partnership with Samsung offers strategic advantage to both companies. For Samsung, bundling the ThinkFree Office solution with the Galaxy S smartphones will truly differentiate their phones in the market by offering customers out-of-box office productivity tools for the creation of documents, spreadsheets, and presentations. In return, ThinkFree Office will receive tremendous public exposure as Samsung has a commanding market share and worldwide reputation for excellence in the booming smartphone market. We are confident that first year revenues from the venture will easily meet our expectations, and the future of the relationship is very bright."

After a successful launch in Europe and Asia, the first ThinkFree-equipped Galaxy S has shipped in the U.S. as well. For more information on ThinkFree Office Mobile 2.0 for Android, please visit: http://product.thinkfree.com/mobile/android.
