Cubic Energy, Inc. Participates in Additional Horizontal Haynesville Shale Well


DALLAS, Aug. 16, 2010 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Cubic Energy, Inc. (NYSE Amex:QBC) ("Cubic" or the "Company") announces today that the Crow 8 No. 1 spud on August 10, 2010 and surface casing was set at 1,925 feet on August 11, 2010. The Crow 8 No. 1 is currently drilling its vertical portion of the well. This well is located in Section 8, Township 14 North – Range 15 West in Caddo Parish, Louisiana located in Cubic's Bethany Longstreet acreage. Cubic has a 24% working interest in this well.
