VINCENT HSIAO TO LEAD SALCOMP’S POWER SOLUTIONS BUSINESS
Mr Vincent Hsiao has been appointed Corporate Vice President, Power Solutions, and member of the Global Management Team at Salcomp Plc as of 1 January 2011. His responsibilities include medium power range (10-150 W) adapter and charger solution business which is one of Salcomp’s strategic growth areas.
Vincent Hsiao has previously worked in several business and production management positions, among others in the Taiwanese-based Foxlink, Wistron and Lite-On. In addition to Taiwan, he has several years’ experience in senior management positions both in China and India. Mr Hsiao moves to his new post from the Lite-On’s Power Supply Business division, where he has worked as Associate Vice President, Consumer Electronics Line of Business.
The place of business of Mr Hsiao is Salcomp’s China plant. He reports to Mr Markku Hangasjärvi, President and CEO of Salcomp.
