OTTAWA, CANADA--(Marketwire - Feb. 23, 2011) - Wi-LAN Inc. ("WiLAN" or the "Company") (TSX:WIN), a leading technology innovation and licensing company, today announced that Ralink Technology Corporation ("Ralink") and WiLAN have signed a technology license agreement. As a result of the agreement Ralink has obtained multi-year license to WiLAN's patent portfolio and will make a series of fixed cash payments to WiLAN.

The agreement includes the dismissal of all litigation between WiLAN and Ralink customers relating to Ralink products, in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas. Other terms of the agreement are confidential.
