Sanatana Begins Summer Exploration Program

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - June 1, 2011) - Sanatana Resources Inc. ("Sanatana" or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:STA) has initiated an induced polarization (IP) survey on key sections of the Watershed property in an attempt to locate extensions of the Cote Lake mineralization trend.

Caracle Creek International Consulting Inc. will undertake the IP survey using the EarthProbe method. Cut lines are oriented north-south varying from 1 to 4 km for a total of approximately 25 line kilometres. It is expected that inversion modelling of the IP data will provide immediate drill targets for a diamond-drilling program scheduled to commence in July 2011. In addition, the Company will undertake detailed geological mapping and prospecting programs.

The technical portions of this news release were reviewed and approved by Troy Gill, a "qualified person" under National Instrument 43-101 – Standards of Disclosure for Mineral Projects.
