Aéroports de Paris signed with Groupe 3S the majority share purchase agreement of the ground handling activities

Aéroports de Paris announced on 8 June 2011 to enter into exclusive negotiations with Groupe 3S to dispose its majority stake in its ground handling activities. After consultation with employee representatives and approval of the Board of Directors of Aéroports de Paris, the parties have signed the share purchase agreement on the redemption by Groupe 3S of 80% of ground handling activities performed by the Alyzia Group, owned by Aéroports de Paris.

This disposal underlines the desire of Aéroports de Paris to entrust the management of Alyzia to a partner that will put the business of ground handling at the heart of its development strategy and could provide its expertise and technical and financial means to ensure the development and sustainability of Alyzia. Groupe 3S' offer, at the request of Aéroports de Paris, includes a commitment not to proceed for 3 years with any redundancies for economic reasons.

The disposal could take place after the approval of the Competition Authority in merger control has been obtained and the decree authorizing the transfer of Alyzia Holding to the private sector has been published.
