Federal Home Loan Bank of Atlanta Names Jon Keagle Vice President, Manager of Mortgage Funding Strategies


ATLANTA, Jan. 30, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Federal Home Loan Bank of Atlanta (FHLBank Atlanta) announced today that Jon Keagle has joined the Bank as Vice President and Manager of Mortgage Funding Strategies for Member Sales, Trading, and Education, effective January 23, 2012.

As Manager of Mortgage Funding Strategies, Keagle will identify, develop, and support mortgage strategies that leverage the Bank's funding and community investment products and services.

"The Bank's shareholders expressed a need for mortgage strategies which integrated with Home Loan Bank products," said Robert Dozier, Executive Vice President and Chief Business Officer. "Jon has the experience and breadth of knowledge we need to pair our shareholders' mortgage lending goals with our products and services."

Prior to joining FHLBank Atlanta, Keagle was the senior account manager for national accounts for Fannie Mae, where he began as an account specialist in 1997. Keagle began his career at NCNB National Bank of South Carolina and later worked in small business consulting.

Keagle earned his bachelor of science in financial management from Clemson University, and a master of business administration specializing in corporate finance and marketing from The University of Georgia.
