Ltd., a leading telecommunications service provider in Asia Pacific, has deployed Proxim's wireless backhaul solutions to provide connectivity for the National Bank of Vanuatu (NBV). Oceanic deployed Proxim's Tsunami® QuickBridge MIMO Integrated 8100 products to connect 22 of the bank's branch office locations.

The Proxim Wireless products support all of the data and voice connections between all branch office locations while providing up to 15x the performance of previously installed solutions.
Oceanic has utilized a combination of solar, wind and battery technology to provide continuous power for the wireless links, as well as for the NBV branch office locations. As a result, even when storms or natural disasters cut off the power, the wireless network continues to provide service to NBV and its many branch locations.
