Providence Resources P.l.c. ("Providence" or "the Company")
Subject to approval by shareholders at an Extraordinary General Meeting to be held on 27 April 2012, application has been made to the Irish Stock Exchange and to the London Stock Exchange for 13,148,930 new Ordinary Shares of nominal value €0.10 each in the capital of the Company to be admitted to trading on the ESM market of the Irish Stock Exchange and to the AIM market of the London Stock Exchange. Dealing is expected to commence in these shares on 30 April, 2012.
These Ordinary Shares are being allotted pursuant to a placing of shares for cash. These Ordinary Shares rank pari passu in all respects with the existing Ordinary Shares of the Company.
