14 Place du Commerce Granted BOMA BESt, Level 2 Certification

MONTREAL, QUEBEC--(Marketwire - May 9, 2012) - Canderel is pleased to announce that 14 Place du Commerce was the recipient of BOMA BESt, Level 2 certification at a ceremony held in Montreal on Tuesday, April 24, 2012. To achieve Level 2 certification, a building must meet all of the BOMA Go Green Best Practices and achieve 70-79% on the Go Green Plus assessment.

This is 14 Place du Commerce's second BOMA BESt, Level 2 Certification and the accomplishment reflects Canderel's long-term commitment to reducing the environmental impacts associated with building operations through the efficient use of resources and the implementation of effective environmental management practices.

Sustainability measures implemented at 14 Place du Commerce include a major upgrade of office and parking level lighting with high-efficiency lamps, the adoption of an office recycling program which includes electronic waste and the use of green cleaning and green landscaping service providers so as to reduce the use of harmful chemicals in our day to day operations.
