MEDL Mobile Launches International Hit App With "Rampage Punch"

Mobile Leaders Release Powerhouse App With UFC and Pride Champion Fighter, Tops Apple App Store From Australia to Uruguay

FOUNTAIN VALLEY, Calif., May 15, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- MEDL Mobile, Inc. (OTCBB:MEDL) – an award-winning leader of mobile technology – announced today the release of "Rampage Punch," the first app in a series of three with UFC fighter Quinton "Rampage" Jackson. The new app launched worldwide and operates on both Apple iOS and Android platforms; it is available now in the Apple App Store and Google Play.

Initially, the game was set to release on Tuesday, May 15. However a single tweet from the UFC star on May 9 drove tens of thousands of views to the game's trailer and fan demand surged. In response to a flurry of twitter demand, the team chose to release the game ahead of schedule and the title quickly shot to the top of the App Store in Australia, Bulgaria, Canada, France, Ireland, Jordan, Latvia, Russia, Sweden, the USA, the UK and Uruguay.

"Rampage Punch" uses the mobile phone's built in accelerometer to combine the player's physical punch strength and reflex speed to gauge their skill. Developed alongside Jackson as creative game development executive, the app is designed for energetic entertainment and enables the player to "punch like Rampage" with an objective to get the highest score possible.

"Working with Rampage has been a blast! He's incredibly passionate about his fans and delivering them an amazing game." Said Dave Swartz, CCO and Co-Founder of MEDL Mobile. "Watching the international response has been really exciting. He's truly a global star."

Users can compare their highest score with their friends and announce their new champion status on Facebook and Twitter.

"I invented a game my fans would love, then hooked up with MEDL Mobile, the best mobile developer company out there, to make it happen." Said Rampage Jackson, former UFC Fighter. "I'm going to change the world of video games."
