SAN FRANCISCO, CA--(Marketwire - May 23, 2012) - The Talent Board, a non-profit organization focused on the elevation and promotion of a quality candidate experience, today announced that HireRight, an award-winning provider of on-demand employment background screening, drug screening and employment eligibility solutions, is sponsoring the North American and U.K. Candidate Experience Awards. Returning as a gold sponsor, HireRight also supported the highly-successful awards program in its 2011 inaugural year.
The Candidate Experience (CandE) awards competition consists of three survey rounds that are designed to evaluate and recognize organizations that produce outstanding candidate experiences. Round one is comprised of a multi-dimensional survey designed to capture and evaluate the nominated company's recruitment processes and practices impacting the candidate experience. The submission deadline for this phase of the awards process is June 15, 2012. The CandEs program is open to all North American and U.K. based employers and is free for all participating companies.
Companies that complete the first round submission process will receive an Employer Benchmark Report. Those that meet the standard for candidate experience will be invited to participate in round two of the competition, which involves surveying a random sampling of the company's 2012 candidates. Companies that meet criteria for both rounds one and two will be awarded a "CandE Award Winner" designation stamp. High scoring companies will be advanced to the final round, where they will be interviewed by the CandE judging panel to determine areas of distinction. North American "With Distinction" honorees will be celebrated, along with all CandE winners, at the 2012 HR Technology Conference in Chicago. U.K. based winners will be honored at a special Candidate Experience Awards ceremony later this year.
"The Talent Board and Candidate Experience Awards are committed to highlighting the impact that candidate experience has on an organization's overall reputation and success, and to recognizing those employers that provide an outstanding experience today," said John Reese, senior director of Marketing at HireRight. "Many leading employers leverage our advanced background screening, drug testing and employment eligibility solutions in their talent acquisition and hiring strategies today, to help meet their candidate experience goals. That's why we're proud to support the Talent Board's mission again this year, and to extend our sponsorship to the U.K. awards as the program expands."
Elaine Orler, chairman, welcomed HireRight as a sponsor on behalf of the Talent Board, commenting, "As a market leading provider of employment screening and employment eligibility solutions, HireRight's solutions help employers achieve their talent goals while providing an expedited and transparent screening experience for candidates. We are thrilled to have HireRight as a sponsor of the CandE Awards for a second year."
