Independent Living Systems Strengthens Management Team With Appointments Across Corporate Development, Informatics & Sales

The new appointments include VP of Corporate Development, Chief Information Officer, VP of Sales & Marketing, and VP of Long Term Care Northeast/Mid Atlantic Market Operations.

Mr. Taylor brings leadership in healthcare innovations and strategy, with a focus on managed long-term care, patient centric healthcare, e-health and disaster response. He is a Founding Partner of Fraser Institute for Health Research, NJ, which provides research guidance to local insurers and medical groups.

Mark Bates, Chief Information Officer

Mr. Bates brings over 25 years of experience in healthcare operations, most recently as the Executive VP and Chief Information Officer at healthcare services firm Trover Solutions, KY. Prior, he also led a 400+ person team at company Humana, Inc., KY, as Director of Information Systems Development.

John Siegel, VP of Sales & Marketing

Mr. Siegel brings robust experience in home-based long-term care solutions to his position at ILS, where he will oversee the sales force as the company enters new regions. Previously, he served as SVP of Sales at Univita Health, Inc., FL.

Mariela Fermin, VP of Long Term Care Northeast/Mid Atlantic Market Operations

Ms. Fermin has vast experience in the development and integration of streamlined Medicare and long-term care programs. Most recently she served as Chief Operating Officer of AMERIGROUP Community Care health insurance provider, NY.
