GRAN TORNEO CUADRANGULAR Soccer Matches to Air on AYM Sports and Latin American Sports Channels


GUADALAJARA, Jalisco, July 6, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- On July 7th AYM Sports Network and Latin American Sports will present CLUBES UNIDOS DE JALISCO A.C., the most anticipated quad of Summer 2012, live from Estadio Jalisco, in the final rounds of competition between Monarcas de Morelia, Pumas de la UNAM, Rojinegros del Atlas and Chivas del Guadalajara.

Airing live on Saturday July 7 beginning 6p.m. Eastern/3p.m. Pacific, the first match will be between Chivas del Guadalajara and Pumas de la UNAM and will be followed by the match between Rojinegros del Atlas and Monarcas de Morelia, which begins at 9p.m. Eastern/6p.m. Pacific.

The tournament began on Thursday, July 5, with Chivas de Guadalajara playing the Monarcas de Morelia. Chivas de Guadalajara won the match one to nothing. Then Rojinegros del Atlas played Pumas de la UNAM, who won 1-0. Both matches took place at the monumental stadium located on Calzada Independencia.

This Saturday's quad will have two matches per team and the team with the largest number of points wins. Should there be a tie, the first criteria will be which team won the match when they played each other and the second criteria will be which team scored the most goals. If a tie persists, the champion will be decided tossing a coin.  The winner will receive a commemorative trophy of the Estadio Jalisco 2012 summer quad tournament.

Football fans will be able to watch these matches on AYM SPORTS available on Comcast cable system, Time Warner Cable, AT&T U-Verse (Channel 3119) and Verizon Fios (Channel 1535). Fans can also watch on LATIN AMERICAN SPORTS (LAS) on Cablevision's iO en Espanol system among the Three State area on channel 1069 and DISH PUERTO RICO on channel 856.
