Honda to Begin Sales of New Accord on September 19, 2012


VENTURA, Calif., Sept. 11, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Clean Diesel Technologies, Inc. (Nasdaq:CDTI) ("CDTi" or the "Company"), a cleantech emissions control company, is pleased to announce that Honda will begin selling its all-new 2013 four- and six-cylinder Accord models incorporating the Company's latest catalyst offerings on September 19, 2012. CDTi is supplying Honda with a palladium-only ("Pd-only") catalyst that significantly reduces precious metal content and reduces the use of Rhodium by 50%.

Moreover, the development of the new catalyst has reduced the cost by 37% while complying with the California state standards in SULEV category of the LEV II regulation, which is one of the strictest emissions regulations in the world."
