SAN RAMON, CA--(Marketwire - Sep 17, 2012) - WANdisco (LSE: WAND), a leading provider of Apache Subversion based software and services for the enterprise and a corporate contributor to the Subversion project, today announced it has acquired Syntevo's SmartSVN product suite and will offer it at 50 percent less than its previous cost, including one year of support. Used by developers in more than 2,500 companies, including many in the Fortune Global 500, the Subversion client has rapidly gained popularity since its launch in 2005.

WANdisco will offer SmartSVN for US $50 per license (for 1-4 licenses) including one year of support, cutting previous pricing by half. Extended pricing is available for enterprise purchases.

SmartSVN is currently available in three editions:

  • SmartSVN Foundation - available at no charge with 30 days of professional support.
  • SmartSVN Professional - licensed on a per-user basis, SmartSVN Professional is available for 30 days at no charge with 30 days of professional support, or as a paid license that includes one year of support.
  • SmartSVN Enterprise - the enterprise-class version of SmartSVN is designed for larger deployments. Licenses are granted for an entire organization, with no limit on the number of users.
