New Book, 'Sustainable Wellness,' Spotlights Overlooked Foundation of Health

ATLANTA, GA--(Marketwire - Mar 27, 2013) - In their new book, "Sustainable Wellness: An Integrative Approach to Transform Your Mind, Body, and Spirit," (www.sustainablewellnessonline.com), oncologist Dr. Matt Mumber and Yoga therapist Heather Reed share ways to improve wellness by nurturing whole-person health.

"The three components of health are physical activity, nutrition and stress management, but too often, these are addressed in isolation -- as though one doesn't affect the other," says Mumber.

"Like an out of kilter chair, when one leg is out of place, then the whole is off balance and, for many, there's an entire leg that is neglected," adds Reed.

Mumber and Reed say the foundation for understanding imbalances is awareness. The ability to be aware allows a person to focus on something without trying to change it, like the sky holding passing clouds without clinging to them.

"'Sustainable Wellness'... does not read like a college text book," writes Amazon reviewer Tim Hallin. "(It) takes a holistic approach to my physical, mental, and spiritual health."
