Zebra Technologies Appoints Terrance Collins to Senior Vice President, Human Resources

Senior Executive Brings 17 Years of Experience to Global Position


LINCOLNSHIRE, Ill., May 14, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Zebra Technologies Corporation (NASDAQ: ZBRA), a global leader in products and services that provide visibility into organizations' assets, people and transactions, today announced Terrance Collins has been named senior vice president, human resources. Mr. Collins will be responsible for the strategic execution of Zebra's human resources function globally, including employee development, talent acquisition, inclusion and diversity, employee benefits and global compensation programs.  Mr. Collins will serve as a member of the executive leadership team and as a corporate officer, reporting to CEO Anders Gustafsson.

Prior to joining Zebra, Mr. Collins served as the vice president of human resources for the Health & Science Technologies Segment at IDEX Corporation, a publicly traded diversified industrial manufacturer based in Lake Forest, Ill. During his six-year tenure at the company, he also served as the vice president of human resources responsible for the Fluid & Metering Technologies Segment and Emerging Markets. Terrance previously served as the senior vice president of human resources for AmSan LLC in Deerfield, Ill., and in several positions of increasing responsibility for U.S. Foodservice, Inc.

Mr. Collins holds a bachelor's degree in business administration with concentrations in human resources and marketing from Towson University in Towson, Md. He attended the Modern Chief Human Resources Executive Program at Cornell University's School of Industrial and Labor Relations. He has completed SHRM's PHR and SPHR professional certifications and is a past chair of the international interest group for the Human Resource Management Association of Chicago (HRMAC).
