Center for Plain Language Appoints Healthwise's Karen Baker to Executive Board


BOISE, ID--(Marketwired - Aug 1, 2013) - The movement to create information that is easy for people to understand and use received a boost recently when Healthwise Senior Vice President Karen Baker joined the Center for Plain Language's board of directors.

"At Healthwise, we're all about putting patients at the center of care, and to do that information needs to be written and designed so people can understand and use it," said Baker, who leads the content and user experience teams at Healthwise. "The Center for Plain Language is helping to bring this about, across all industries. I'm excited to join the board of directors and lend our leadership and experience in plain language and learn from other leaders in this field."
