Luna Gold Appoints Luis Baertl to Chairman of the Board

VANCOUVER, BC--(Marketwired - June 16, 2014) - Luna Gold Corp. (TSX: LGC) (LMA: LGC) (OTCQX: LGCUF) ("Luna" or the "Company") today announced that Keith Hulley has retired from his roles as Director and also Chairman of Luna's Board of Directors ("Board"). Concurrently, the Board has named current Director, Luis "Lucho" Baertl as new Chairman of the Board and also has appointed Steven Krause as lead independent Director.
