NORTH MIAMI BEACH, Fla., July 16, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Where will your watch take you? Climb higher, go further, dive deeper, and see brighter! No more limitations with your watch!
In order to offer a truly tough and durable watch, every component of a watch must meet rigorous standards. ArmourLite Watch Company has set out to manufacturer some of the toughest and most durable tritium illuminated watches on the market. The company's commitment to excellence has gone beyond its unique shatterproof Armourglass crystal and 316L stainless steel case construction.
One of the weakest parts of a watch is the pin that holds the band to the watchcase. As such, ArmourLite offers many watch models with an innovative screw bar that replaces the standard pin. The screw bar is composed of two separate pieces: the screw and the bar the screw goes into. Removing the screw bar is as easy as placing a screwdriver on each side. One screwdriver holds the bar in position while the other unscrews.
"The integrated screw-bar creates a very strong connection between the band and the watchcase," explains Ashley Diener, CEO of ArmourLite Watch Company. "This provides added dependability and is important for our customers who use their watches under extreme conditions."
Screw bars are currently found in the ArmourLite Professional Series watches, some of the ArmourLite Colorburst Series watches, all the ArmourLite Captain Field Series watches, and the ArmourLite Automatic Series watch.
