ESTeem Wireless Modems Announces FCC Type Acceptance of 195H Wireless Modem

KENNEWICK, Wash., Aug. 25, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Electronic Systems Technology, Inc. (EST) (OTCQB:ELST), dba ESTeem Wireless Modems, has been granted type acceptance by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) in the United States, for their new Model 195H radio on the FCC's newest licensed narrow band frequency in the 217 to 220 MHz frequency spectrum. This new frequency has been allocated for the fast growing Water, Wastewater and other SCADA industrial markets.

"The ESTeem 195H incorporates the latest narrow band radio technology for cabinet or direct outdoor pole mount configurations. The 195H's integral Digi-Repeating feature allows simple implementation of large wireless networks over large geographical areas," states Tom Kirchner, President.

The Model 195H has multiple modes of operation allowing a single radio to operate as a Master, Repeater or Remote through programmable selection to reduce system spares and ease of site management. The 195H also has an embedded Spectrum Analyzer Feature to aid in site design, installation and maintenance along with other features for local and remote site support. The ESTeem 195H provides low throughput Ethernet, Serial (RS232/422/485) and 4 Channel (4/20mA) Sensor interfaces for industrial automation and control system hardware at a very competitive price point.

Electronic Systems Technology (EST) has been a publicly held Corporation since 1984. EST was the first company to develop the wireless modem and receive the United States and Canadian patents for this technology. ESTeem is one of the first members of the original Rockwell Automation Pyramid Solutions Program started in 1991 which is now called the Encompass Program.
