Merger Gives IBM i Market a Fresche Look

MONTREAL, CANADA and MELBOURNE, AUSTRALIA--(Marketwired - Sept. 16, 2014) - Fresche Legacy, a leading provider of legacy application management and modernization solutions, announced today its merger with looksoftware, a company headquartered in Melbourne, Australia specializing in web, cloud and mobile solutions for the IBM i, and particularly in GUI modernization. The merger combines Fresche Legacy's deep modernization product and service expertise with looksoftware's extensive product suite, including newlook, the most advanced design and development environment for IBM i GUI modernization.

Under the terms of the agreement, looksoftware becomes a wholly owned subsidiary of Fresche Solutions Pty. The company and its products will continue to be marketed and sold under the looksoftware name.

As a result of the merger, IBM i users can now turn to one partner to address full life-cycle application management and all levels of modernization.
