Full Body Rejuvenation Welcomes a New Doctor, Kevin McCowan, MD


LITHONIA, Ga., Nov. 9, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Full Body Rejuvenation Center announces the addition of a new doctor to its staff, Dr. Kevin McCowan, MD. A doctor of medicine, Dr. McCowan will make a welcome addition to Full Body Rejuvenation Center, allowing the clinic to expand the range of services offered by integrating traditional medical care with the holistic services previously available. The medical staff of Full Body Rejuvenation Center is committed to providing care for the whole patient, promoting total body wellness in order to foster improved health.

The staff of Full Body Rejuvenation Center is pleased to announce the addition of Dr. Kevin McCowan, MD and his wealth of medical knowledge, experience, and expertise to their wellness center. With a medical doctor on staff, Full Body Rejuvenation Center can now offer patients further specialized wellness care by having traditional general medical care available in addition to holistic chiropractic treatments, nutritional counseling, and massage therapy. With the goal of providing a higher standard of care to patients, Full Body Rejuvenation Center's chiropractor, Dr. Nailah Smith, DC, will work alongside Dr. McCowan to promote total body wellness from the inside out by providing patients with completely integrated medical care.

Dr. McCowan attended the University of North Carolina School of Medicine, and is a licensed surgeon in the state of Georgia with fourteen years of experience in general and laparoscopic surgery. Board certified with a specialty in surgery by the American Board of Surgery, he is the only LapBand surgeon in the state of Georgia. He is a recipient of the University of North Carolina School of Medicine Medical Faculty Award, is a Medical Elective Warwick Fellow (Warwick, England), and also received the Vascular Surgery Foreign Research Fellowship (Bath, England). He is the author of the novel A Time to Pray, A time for Peace: A Surgeon's Story September 11, 2001.
