AccessData Launches Free 20-Day Trial Program for Digital Forensics Products

New "Test Drive" Program Provides Digital Forensics Investigators the Opportunity to Evaluate Products Through Real Hands-on Testing

LINDON, Utah, Feb. 18, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- AccessData Group today announced the launch of a new trial program in which prospective and current clients can evaluate any of the company's digital forensics products available for a period of 20 days, free of charge.

"One of the objectives of this program is to provide our current customers with the opportunity to try other AccessData products that may interest them," says Lee Reiber, vice president of global digital forensic solutions at AccessData. "It is also our goal to reach customers who are new to our portfolio of offerings, give them the opportunity to experience our products and utilize them in real cases before they commit to purchase."

By participating in this trial program, users will enjoy full product capabilities without the need of a license for the entire 20-day trial period. Users are able to validate the product features, test them in their entirety and choose the solution that best fit their needs.

Program participants can purchase the product at any time during their trial period. Once the license is purchased, the transition between the trial and the full licensed version is seamless. Customers or prospective clients interested in participating in the "test drive" program can do so by visiting www.accessdata.com/test-drive.

Mobile Phone Examiner Plus (MPE+), AccessData's investigations solution for smart phones, tablets, feature phones and portable devices, will be the first product to be available as a trial under the new DEMO program. The company's other digital forensics products that will be rolled out in the program include the following:

  • Forensic Toolkit (FTK) – a global standard digital investigations platform
  • MPE+ nFIELD – agile solution for mobile forensic investigations to quickly perform mobile device collections and preview findings
  • AD Lab – centralized investigative platform that enables collaborative analysis and case management
  • AD Enterprise – powerful and intuitive remote investigations platform
  • AD Triage – tool for secure acquisition and preservation of digital evidence on the scene of a collection

The trial solutions are not supported on computers running Microsoft Windows XP or virtual machines and the computer running the trial version must have continuous access to the Internet. The free evaluation period runs for 20 days immediately after the product software is installed. AccessData reserves the right to end any trial at any time.
