MEDIC™ will be open to operators nationwide and will complement the traditional insurance product currently offered by National Interstate. National Interstate will market MEDIC™ directly through retail brokers and is currently accepting new producers. The comprehensive coverage package includes auto liability, auto physical damage, workers' compensation, general liability, employee benefits liability, professional liability, and employment practices liability insurance coverages. Additional coverages such as umbrella, property, and inland marine are also available outside of the captive program for a true one-stop-shopping experience.
