Middle-School Students from Across NYC to Share Their Work at Teaching Matters' Poetry Slam, 6-10-15

WHAT: About 200 students from schools in Manhattan, Queens, the Bronx, and Brooklyn will come together for Teaching Matters' annual poetry slam, the culminating event for participants in Teaching Matters' "Writing Matters" curriculum, and other interested students. In addition to the students' performances during the half-day event, professional poets will share with the students in a joint assembly.
