Twitter Co-Founder to Visit HPU in January


HIGH POINT, N.C., Nov. 9, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Biz Stone, co-founder of Twitter and an American entrepreneur, will visit High Point University on Jan. 21.

The event, titled "A Discussion with HPU President Nido R. Qubein," is a question and answer session that will be held at 9 a.m. in the Hayworth Fine Arts Center. It will be filmed by UNC-TV and will air at a later date as part of the "High Point University Presents" series. After the interview, Stone will meet in small groups with HPU students studying communication, entrepreneurship and business.

Stone joins an impressive array of innovators and leaders to spend time at HPU, including Netflix co-founder Marc Randolph; broadcast legend Tom Brokaw; Gen.
