50th Annual Detroit Camper & RV Show Proves RVing Is Perfect for All Seasons

NOVI, MI--(Marketwired - February 01, 2016) - Many people consider RVing a summer pleasure, but as some exhibits demonstrate at the 50th Annual Detroit Camper & RV Show, produced by the Michigan Association of Recreation Vehicles and Campgrounds (MARVAC) -- February 10-14 at Suburban Collection Showplace in Novi -- RVs have their place in the snow as well as the sun.

Fish 'N Camp - Perfect for the avid ice fishing family, this 20-foot Flagstaff RV by Forest River, brought to the show by Westland Camping Center, Westland, Mich., is as comfortable on the (frozen) water as is parked next to it. A hydraulic lift system allows the entire trailer to be lowered onto a favorite ice fishing area, while five fishing holes open internally so you can drop your line in comfort. The trailer also offers a queen-size Murphy bed with a heated mattress, pull down bunks, bathroom and full kitchen for cooking up the day's catch. Show price $19,950.

2016 Venom Toy Hauler - A perfect combination of necessity and festivity, this 36-foot Venom toy hauler by KZ can handle all your winter toys including snowmobiles or skis, while also providing incredible space to kick back and warm up after wintertime activities. The 13-foot "garage" has enough room for seasonal toys, while the back patio deck, full kitchen, bathroom with shower and triple theatre seating area is perfect for entertaining in any season. Brought to the show by Veurinks RV of Grand Rapids, Mich., this unit has a show price of $75,999.

Retro RVs - What's old is new again with the largest collection of new retro-inspired RVs at the show. Vicars Trailer Sales, Taylor, Mich., is bringing a Gulfstream Vintage Cruiser and a Riverside RV Whitewater Retro, among others. Both on the cozy side at 15 to 17 feet long, they're big on character, with vintage-style decorating and colors.
