Lingerie Fighting Championships Goes Hollywood

LAS VEGAS, March 30, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Lingerie Fighting Championships, Inc. (“LFC”) (OTC:BOTY) announced today that several of their fighters will be appearing in an upcoming feature film called ‘Gladiatrix: Crescent Moon’. The movie is set in 200AD and is a unique twist on the gladiator epic. It is based on the novel ‘The Crescent’ by Las Vegas author Cynthia Vespia and is being produced by Mind Engine Entertainment with an estimated budget of $2 million.

"We’re very excited to take part in the movie,” said Shaun Donnelly, LFC’s Chief Executive Officer. “Not only will many of our fighters have roles as female gladiators they will also have a hand in choreographing the many fight scenes.”

‘Gladiatrix’ is simply the latest in a growing number of feature films and television series eager to cast LFC fighters and tap into the controversial MMA promotion’s fan base. Next month Jolene ‘The Valkyrie’ Hexx, the reigning LFC Europe Champion, will have a major role in the dark comedy ‘The Zombie Apocalypse in Apartment 14F’. She will be joined by two other LFC fighters in Maxine ‘The Boss’ Frost and Piper ‘Code Red’ Rose.

“It’s amazing to get these opportunities,” Hexx says, “I was so excited when I read the script. My role is sexy, funny and totally bad ass.”

In November Serina ‘Honey Punch’ Kyle will reprise her role as Shelby in ‘Gone By Dawn 2: Dead By Dusk’, a sequel to the 2015 film that saw her make her feature film debut.

“I never imagined I’d get a chance to do movies,” Kyle says. “It’s so much fun being on set and seeing everything that goes into a movie. And then you realize you’re right there with them and have to pinch yourself!”

Kris ‘The Raven’ Blackwell was also bitten by the acting bug when she appeared in ‘Wolf Cop 2’.

“It was only supposed to be a couple days work,” Blackwell says, “but they liked my look and I ended up being cast in a much larger role as a really tough body guard. It was a blast!”

“It’s really exciting seeing so many of our fighters getting these opportunities,” Donnelly says. “And I think it’s fun for our fans to see their favorite fighters in movies.”
