Innovative Entrepreneur, Ted Hellard, Appointed Executive Chairman of Sundial Growers Inc.


ROCKY VIEW, Alberta, Feb. 21, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Sundial Growers Inc. (“Sundial”) is pleased to announce that business leader and tech entrepreneur Ted Hellard will take an active role as the organization’s leader.

Hellard brings decades of business experience to the Sundial team. In 1996 he founded Critical Mass, which became one of the world’s largest and most influential digital marketing agencies, eventually being sold to Omnicom Group. In 2005, he became Managing Partner and co-owner of the Calgary Stampeders Football Club, building the team into Grey Cup hosts and champions before stepping away in 2011. His latest venture, AppColony, is a technology company that creates innovative mobile software and has forged strategic partnerships with leading global organizations in multiple industries.
