TORONTO, March 08, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- AGF Investments Inc. (AGF) today announced a series of management fee reductions and risk rating changes to its product line-up.

Management Fee Reductions
Effective April 1, 2018, AGF is reducing management fees on AGF Emerging Markets Fund/Class and AGF Fixed Income Plus Fund/Class. The management fee reductions are across the MF series, F series and the high-net-worth series (Q/W), and range from 10 bps to 50 bps.

Risk Rating Changes
Effective today, AGF is changing the risk ratings for 11 funds, with 10 decreasing their risk rating and one increasing its risk rating.
These changes result from compliance with the Canadian Securities Administrators’ Mutual Fund Risk Classification Methodology, which became effective on September 1, 2017. Previously, AGF followed a risk classification methodology based on the approach recommended by The Investment Funds Institute of Canada. No material changes have been made to the investment objectives, strategies or management of the Funds.
