NEW YORK, April 24, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- CGS, a global provider of business applications, enterprise learning and outsourcing services, today announced it will be sponsoring and participating in the Human Capital Institute (HCI) webinar titled, “Thrifty and Nifty: Measuring Time to Productivity, Making the Most of Onboarding,” on Tuesday, May 8, at 3 p.m. EDT. Doug Stephen, SVP of Learning, CGS, will be joined on the webinar panel by Heather Luczak, Employee Insights Manager, Vivint Solar, and Julie Betts, Enterprise Learning Leader, NCR Corporation.
In the latest Annual Enterprise Learning Trends Report from CGS, 82 percent of respondents chose measuring the effectiveness of Onboarding Success Rate/Time to Performance as a top priority for executives, talent management, learning, HR, strategy and operations management. The focus on onboarding success is due in part to how costly it is to ramp up a new employee, with onboarding estimates ranging from $400 to $350,000, for example, to replace a junior engineer.
HCI’s “Measuring Time to Productivity” webinar, which is sponsored by CGS, is bringing together industry leaders to discuss getting the best return on investment in your onboarding programs. The webinar panel’s discussion will offer real-life stories and lessons learned. Takeaways for attendees will include measurement tips and real-world tactics to help companies fully understand the ROI of great onboarding, while reducing new hire costs in organizations.
“Companies understand that employee turnover can be quite costly – in getting them ramped up and productive; yet L&D professionals have the ability to mitigate the loss through Learning programs that can efficiently bring new hires up to speed,” said Stephen. “I am looking forward to discussing the results of our latest Learning Trends study as well as provide insight on how to measure the ROI of corporate learning programs, helping organizations reduce new hire costs.”
