This high-voltage fixture produces a total of 2,640 lumens and operates for at least 90 minutes during a power outage, making this exit system ideal for emergency failsafe lighting in areas where explosion proof fixtures are required.
The EXP-EMG-EXT-LE8-3L-220.50HZ from Larson Electronics is an explosion proof emergency LED exit system that includes an LED exit sign and two 12-watt LED lamps. The LED lamps produce of total of 2,640 lumens of white high-quality LED light, while drawing just 24 watts. The LED fixtures come with spot or flood lighting configuration choices. The emergency exit sign features self-testing and a backup emergency battery for failsafe reliability, which will run for at least 90 minutes after a power failure via a rechargeable battery.
This explosion proof emergency LED exit sign includes brown-out, short circuit and voltage surge protection, and has a low voltage disconnect which prevents damage to the battery in case the battery’s terminal voltage falls too low. The entire assembly is designed for surface mounting and made of powder coated die cast aluminum with polycarbonate lenses protecting the LED bulbs. The special adjustable pendant mount allows operators to change the tilt of the unit to achieve the desired beam angle. The fixture operates on 220 volts at 50Hz.
