International Business Educators and Industry Leaders Comprise 2018-19 ACBSP Board of Directors


OVERLAND PARK, KS, USA, Aug. 08, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP) www.acbsp.org, the only global accrediting body to accredit business, accounting, and business-related programs at all degree levels, is proud to announce its Board of Directors for 2018-19. The elections and appointments were made at the ACBSP Annual Conference held June 8-11 in Kansas City, Missouri.

 
“This is the second year in a row that our Board of Directors has been led by an ACBSP member affiliated with an institution outside the U.S. Last year, Mary Vaughan, Dean of Seneca Business, Seneca, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada was chair, and this year, Dr. Alejandro Jose Cheyne Garcia, Dean – School of Business, Universidad del Rosario in Bogotá, Colombia, has been elected Chair,” said Jeffrey Alderman, ACBSP President/CEO. “The ACBSP Board of Directors truly reflects the organization’s global presence and I am honored to serve alongside them as we strive to promote continuous improvement in the accreditation of business programs throughout the world.”
