NEW ORLEANS, Sept. 04, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- First Bauxite Corporation (“First Bauxite” or the “Company”) (TSX-V:FBX) (FRANKFURT:FBI) (BERLIN:FBI) announces that Alan Roughead has advised that he will be retiring from his positions as President and Chief Executive Officer of the Company effective December 31, 2018, to return home to his native Australia. Mr. Roughead will continue to serve as a member of the Board of Directors of the Company (the “Board”).
The Company further announces that William (Bill) White has advised the Company of his decision not to renew his employment contract with First Bauxite. Mr. White will be retiring from his positions as Chief Financial Officer and Corporate Secretary of the Company, effective December 31, 2018.
The Board has commenced its search for suitable candidates to fill the vacancies to be created by the departures of its officers at the end of the year. Both Alan and Bill will be available in Q1 2019 to assist with any transition to the new leadership team.
The Board thanks Alan and Bill for their years of service to the Company and, in particular, for helping to guide the company from its exploration and feasibility phase to the commencement of project construction and commercial operations.
