iPass Signs Two Data Deals

Leading location insights provider and telecommunications solutions company choose iPass for its high-accuracy, high-density data


REDWOOD SHORES, Calif., Sept. 18, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- iPass Inc. (NASDAQ: IPAS), a leading provider of global mobile connectivity and location technology, today announced it has signed two new data deals, one for the iPass Location Intelligence product and one for iPass Network Intelligence.

iPass Location Intelligence delivers the most accurate location data in the industry by enhancing GPS signals with high precision location data from Wi-Fi access points. The new deal with a leading location insights provider for iPass Location Intelligence will see the company receive anonymized device location data from iPass, which will be used to enhance its various location data offerings.

The iPass Network Intelligence deal is with a leading telecommunications services and solutions provider. Under the terms of the deal, the company will draw anonymized iPass cellular data into bespoke dashboards that it offers mobile operators, providing its customers with greater visibility into the performance and operation of their networks.
