PCL Named One of Canada’s Most Admired Corporate Cultures

Edmonton, Alberta, Nov. 22, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The PCL family of companies is pleased to announce it has been named to the list of Canada’s Most Admired Corporate Cultures. This national program, now in its 14th year, annually recognizes best-in-class Canadian organizations as having cultures that have helped them enhance performance and sustain a competitive advantage.

Mike Olsson, PCL vice president of Human Resources and Professional Development said, “It’s very rewarding to receive this highly esteemed recognition for a third time. The employee owned culture at PCL is something we are very proud of and is a critical component of our success as an organization.”

Organizations’ submissions are scored in six categories: vision and leadership; recruitment and hiring for fit; cultural alignment and measurement; retention, rewards, and recognition; organizational performance; and corporate social responsibility. The awards program receives hundreds of submissions and through the rigorous selection process, only a limited number of companies are recognized in each category. PCL is one of only 10 companies recognized in the Enterprise category.

The full list of Canada’s Most Admired Corporate Cultures for 2018 can be found in the Waterstone announcement and in the November 22 issue of the National Post. A gala event and summit will be held in Toronto on February 28, 2019.
