Las Vegas, NV - December 4th, 2018 - UNLEASH America the most exclusive, innovative and impactful event for HR and HRIT leaders and those evolving the Future of Work, announced today that Edward Snowden, former CIA employee and NSA contractor will be a keynote speaker at its third U.S. conference taking place on May 14-15, 2019 at the Aria Resort & Casino in Las Vegas.
Speaking about trust, cyber-security, privacy and transparency in the digital age and keeping employee data secure, Snowden will be present via a live telecast and answer people's questions onsite about questioning the status quo, how cyber threats to your business are real and share his thoughts on the safety and security of HR systems.
In 2013, Snowden leaked the NSA's classified cybersecurity program (PRISM) documents, which stated that the agency was using records of hundreds of millions of people around the world to spy on citizens and that they were getting the data on the behalf of multinational IT/communications companies such as Google, Facebook, Yahoo!, Dropbox and Microsoft. Even from abroad, he's led a movement on data security and warned others on how easy it is to get information.
Winner of The Foreign Policy Global Thinker and the Sam Adams Awards, Snowden will share his knowledge on how data security with the most exclusive C-level leaders' HR community.
