Tricolor names Don Goin President and Chief Operating Officer

Current Tricolor CTO and former long-time Santander Consumer USA CIO to assume expanded role


DALLAS, May 14, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Tricolor, the nation’s largest used vehicle retailer focusing on the sale and financing of vehicles to the Hispanic consumer, today announced that it has promoted veteran industry technology innovator Don Goin to President and Chief Operating Officer, just three months after being appointed Chief Technology Officer.

Prior to joining Tricolor and as part of a twenty-five-year career in technology, Goin served over twelve years as the Chief Information Officer at Santander Consumer USA, leading all technology strategy and execution for one of the fastest growing lenders in the subprime auto industry.  He also served as Chief Information Officer at Capital One Auto Finance, leading the creation of the company’s innovation center.
